Our Staff

Betty Abshire, Registered Dental Hygienist, has worked with us since 1981. She has a son, Corey, and a daughter, Amy, both teenagers. She enjoys working at our office and especially enjoys interacting with our patients.

Cathy Matheson, Business Manager and Appointment Secretary, has worked in our office since 1989. Cathy works closely with our patients, making appointments and greeting you when you arrive. She also files insurance claims and answers your billing questions. She loves her job and has learned much about dentistry from Dr. Miller over the years, which makes her a valuable resource. She says, “We have so many wonderful patients that feel like family members to us. I am blessed to work for such a wonderful Christian man.”

Susan Sexton, Certified Dental Assistant, worked with us from 1981 to 1992 before returning home to take care of her family. After filling in from time to time for several years, Susan rejoined our staff part-time in 2004. She’s a valuable part of our excellent team.

Cameron Stepp, Certified Dental Assistant, began her dental career in 1991 and graduated from the Assisting program at Wake Forest University in 1996. She’s the newest member of our staff, having joined us early in 2007.
